History

The Choral Arts Society of Frederick was established in 1943 to provide the opportunity for singers to perform various musical works. CASF has formerly been known as The Monday Musical, The Community Singers, and The Frederick Singers. Over the years, many people from Frederick and the surrounding area have enjoyed being a part of this group.

CASF was fortunate to have Ms. Helen Smith, the original creator of the clustered spires design, develop our logo. It features the famous "Spires of Frederick" and the very appropriate "Music InSpires" theme.
